   Open the correct platform

   Sign in to GLM Global · Z.AI using the account that pays for API usage. Chat products and the other regional site are not substitutes.

   Prepare an API key

   Create a dedicated platform key. Do not treat Coding Plan quota as wallet funds. A plan-specific key may not be accepted by the balance endpoint.

   Select the site and save

   Choose GLM Global · Z.AI in your project, enter the key, and save. Amounts use USD without cross-site currency switching.

   Verify against the wallet

   Refresh and check the successful query time. Compare available wallet funds, not token-pack quantities or Coding Plan request counts. Independently verify the global site on first use.

What Quota Monitor reads from GLM Global · Z.AI

• The balance uses a console endpoint on the official provider domain, but it is not publicly documented. Changes produce a sync failure, not an estimate.
• China and Global are connected and verified separately. Keys and projects on the same site may share a wallet.
• A zero wallet does not prove that every model is unavailable: resource packs or Coding Plans may remain. Those quotas are not monitored here.
• The dashboard shows the latest successful snapshot. Manual refresh queries the provider again but cannot eliminate upstream billing delays. An old balance is not a new result after a failed query.

Why do model calls work while balance queries fail?

Model access does not imply balance access. Check site, credentials, and sync errors; the console endpoint may have changed. Never share login cookies or keys to troubleshoot.

Why did buying a Coding Plan not increase the wallet?

Subscriptions and wallet funds are separate. This integration monitors the wallet, not Coding Plan or resource quotas.

What does an unrecognized balance format mean?

The upstream response may have changed. Keep the error code and query time; do not treat an old snapshot as a successful new refresh.
