Connect Kimi Global to Quota Monitor

  1. Check the site and account

Open https://platform.kimi.ai with the account you use for Kimi Global API calls. Do not infer the site from the appearance of a key.

  2. Create a key on that site

Create a dedicated key in API key management and store its complete value securely. Do not use another site’s key or share it in chat or screenshots.

  3. Add the connection in your project

Select Kimi Global, enter the key in the secure password field, and save. This connection uses USD and does not switch currencies across sites.

  4. Refresh and verify the balance

Wait for the first sync or refresh manually. Compare the updated result with the same site’s available balance. Review cash and vouchers separately from other sites or subscription products.

What Quota Monitor reads from Kimi Global

  • China and Global accounts, keys, and balances are separate. Never reuse a key across sites.
  • Use the official available_balance. Do not replace it by adding cash arrears and vouchers yourself. Chat subscriptions are separate from API funds.
  • The dashboard shows the latest successful snapshot. Manual refresh queries the provider again but cannot eliminate upstream billing delays. An old balance is not a new result after a failed query.

Kimi Global FAQ and troubleshooting

Why do I get invalid credentials or 401?
Select Kimi Global and confirm the key was created at https://platform.kimi.ai. Cross-site, expired, revoked, or incomplete keys can be rejected.
Why is available balance positive while cash is negative?
The provider returns cash, vouchers, and available funds separately. Vouchers may remain despite cash arrears. Use available_balance without recalculating it.
Why does another project show the same amount?
Keys on the same account and site may share funds. Projects organize your business; they do not create provider wallets.
